Babolat RPM Team 17 is a new co-polyester and is a slightly more forgiving alternative to RPM Blast. The infusion of micro air bubbles into the string permits additional flexibility without sacrificing durability. Also an excellent choice for big hitters looking for extra spin. Octagonal (8-sided) cross-section adds the extra bite on the ball for added topspin and slice. Thinner 17 gauge for added playability.

    This string is very soft for a poly. It produces a lot of spin and has good power too.

    I have been looking for a string that would complete my game, and this is the one. I have tried so many others, but this RPM Team 17G is the one for me. The tension stays honest for at least a month. I usually string this RPM Team at 52 during the cold season and 55 in hot summer.

    This string is softer than RPM Blast but still plays very firm. I started the tension at 56 lbs and felt the string bed to be very firm. I loved the control and liveliness of the string. Team offers great control and power with similar spin potential of Blast. I will tension the string down to 50 lbs on my next restring.
