Genesis Typhoon 16L Silver Tennis String

Using this string with Wilson Blade v7 18x20 and get great amount spin and power.

I like the power and the durability.

I have gone through the same sort of process as Jordan; Luxilon to RPM Blast to Typhoon with a similar experience. The only comment I would add is I've had several unexpected broken strings. It has happened during a warm-up, not hitting hard, not catching some frame. It seems like the strings have a "shelf life" and they let go without warning.

This string blows me away with the combination of good aspects. Unless you are a strictly natural guy player you are going to enjoy this string. The closest thing that come sto the feeling of it is Bbt RPM blast. The RPM looses tension faster and feels slightly more spongy than these. They are much more playable that Lux ALU rough. sometimes I can have them in for one to tow months of hard hitting depending, and only starts to drop tension around the last few days before it breaks. Tons of spin and control and i can feel the ball pretty well for a poly.
