    I have been wearing a version of the NB806 for more than 20 years. I can put these on and play a few sets with no break-in. Solid and comfortable.

    Best tennis shoe ever...especially with custom orthotics. Great support and comfort without being spongy and foamy. Nice wide and tall toe box. Supportive leather top (I don't like stretchy fabric tops.) I've been wearing one pair since last fall, indoors on a new, rather abrasive court surface...and have two new pairs store away in case New Balance discontinues the MC 806.

    Because of my shoe size (15 1/2 USA) I started ordering from Midwest Sports a number of years ago. There is such a wide selection of athletic shoes to choose from even though I have stayed with the New Balance tennis shoes. Thanks!

    I have had ten pair of this shoe over the years.....the last two I sent back because the quality of the leather has been diminished and the shoe becomes sloppy after a few weeks. sorry to report this
