Wilson Revolve 17G Orange Tennis String

Was looking for an alternative to harsh poly in the $10 price range and a pro recommended this one ... it plays soft but not mushy and has all the advantages of a poly without the shock and vibration. Will try the black next time the orange is just a little too garish for my taste.

I really like the feel of these strings as mains. I have both my rackets strung with the Ripspin 17 in the mains and Optimus 16 in the crosses. This string works great for me, because I hit flat, hard groundstrokes and it gives me some extra bite when I absolutely have to generate spin. Excellent feel when combined with the more comfort oriented crosses. Love the combination.
